This summer we visited Croatia, which was very nice. We stayed in Posedarje, and visited Zadar almost every day. A very nice town with great views.
On our first two days, I noticed that the air was very clear, but that a 90+ km fernsicht from the promenade was possible didn't dawn to me until researching at home. And so there it is, just like that, clear as anything - also in real life - the view to Osoršcica on the island of Lošinj. Of course confirmed by udeuschle.
Besides that, the nearby archipelago is of course the showpiece of the promenade. A wonderful relaxed place, where people swam, worked on their tan, and simply had a good time.

But there are two little bugs.
First: the graduation shows a 360° angle, but the image does not.
Second: the Bike at 8° ist missing half a front wheel.
Regarding the orientation, it comes from standort-wechsel. The pier is, say 20 meters?, broad, so to not getting any people in the way I started at the southern corner and slided to the north corner. I have aimed at the farthest Pasman and Losinj corners, and there the orientation is very accurate. Therefore I don't want to regulate the orientation. LG Jan.
