SOLVED RIDDLE.
The Five Miles Plateau (Altopiano delle Cinque Miglia) stretches for almost 9 km, between 1250 and 1280 meters of altitude.
It is almost completely uninhabited and devoid of vegetation. Due to particular conditions, in winter it is one of the coldest areas of the Apennines, reaching sometimes a temperature of -30°.
