Our visit on the Faroes coincided with the annual days of national celebration, the so-called Ólavsøka, on 28-29/7. The central figure in the celebration is Olav II of Norway: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olaf_II_of_Norway
On the 29/7 all prominent political, religious and public servants leaders are present at a ceremony in the town, and they finally walk in procession to the parliament to start the new political year. After that all kinds of sports and parties are set off. One such sport is 1 on 1 horseraces, for any man, woman or child, capable of riding any horse of ones own liking (the more contesters the better), at the foot of Húsareyn.
I used this oppertunity to ascent a bit and shoot this pano. Unfortunately I didn't make it far before clouds started to interfere.
Pano made from 23 LF (RAW), 50 mm, f/8, 1/320, iso-100, developed in DPP (ALO off, moderate sharpness, daylight, neutral), stitched in PTGui pro, minor contrast adjustment, down-scaling and sharpening in IrfanView.
