SOLVED RIDDLE.
Milan–San Remo, also called "The Spring classic" or "La Classicissima", is an annual cycling race between Milan and Sanremo, in Northwest Italy. With a distance of 298 km it is the longest professional one-day race in modern cycling.

The Poggio di Sanremo is a hill near Sanremo. It is mainly known from cycling, as it is the final climb in the classic Milan–San Remo. The climb is 4 kilometers long with an average gradient of 3.7%. It is a climb neither long, nor particularly difficult, but, mainly in the past, it is often the site of decisive attacks to the win.

So it's time to solve the riddle...
My 1st thought: San Remo, taken from Poggio, hope I'm not wrong.
By the way: The Primavera-Cycling-Poggio is overrated...
