SOLVED RIDDLE
This is the "Sala Caldaie" (Boiler Room) of the Centrale Montemartini, the first power station in Rome. In this room there are some statues and Roman finds of great importance and some machinery of the old power station.

Very difficult - a Museum for Archeological excavations... In Greece ?

Yes it is now a museum. But before it was a very special building. It is not in Greece.
This is just one of the many rooms of the museum. It is a museum not very famous, but, in my opinion, very beautiful. For me it is one of the best of a city that has many famous museums.

I like the picture - and I really spent some time googleing things like "museum AND factory", "art gallery AND power station" and so on, but I still do not have any clue.

@Arne: it is as you say. It is a museum for lovers of famous classical antiquities, but also for lovers of industrial archeology....

This was the first power station of Rome.
Now it contains about 400 Roman statues, but also almost all the machinery of the old power station.

Dear Arne, this is not one of the most famous museums of Rome, but it is one of my favorites. There are also magnificent old machinery, not seen in this pano. The contrast between the old machinery and Roman statues makes it unique. For exemple, there are keys for bolts almost as large as a man...
It is difficult to achieve pano and to do this, without breaking the rules of the museum, I really struggled.

Il giorno che era comparso, pur consapevole che non mi sarebbe mai venuto in mente cosa fosse, avevo avuto la chiara sensazione di averlo visto tempo non troppo tempo fa in televisione. È una cosa possibile, o è una qualche strana forma di dejà-vu?
