This panorama is nothing but the continuation of N.16660, whose description you need to read in order to get some understanding.
Actually, I was taking these shots short after the left turn which marked my (forced) renunciation to... Africa. Hence, I found myself pointing in direction Fouja, a little village made by two mosques and maybe as many houses, which was the very first spot marked in Hanane's map.
Concerning Martin's remark that "Foum Oued Assaka" was the southernmost panorama in Morocco: now this is no longer true, since here we are a few hundreds of metres further south!!

My first thought was: Not only the southernmost panorama of Morocco, but also another highlight in your collection of desolate spots. Closer inspection however reveals a lot of colour. Most remarkable the small flowers - are they also growing saffron here or is this mostly around Taliouine? Cheers, Martin

Those flowers were truly everywhere.
I hope in the intervention of some botanical expert:

Interesting - and not saffron at all.

"The living desert" ... my first impression ... and the blue door is a real "eye-catcher" ;-) - well done, Alberto!!!

Davvero bello ed insolito. Per i miei gusti è magnifico.

HJBäu: the eye which that door is catching is surely a careful and observing one... Namely, it was precisely the blue door who triggered the idea to shot a panorama in such an otherwise "anonymous" place!
That photographically lavish day had indeed been blue since its very start «en las calles» of Sidi Ifni: www.panoramio.com/photo/117081734 Then it went on, although in the desert, among endless blue carpets of flowers. «Au milieu de l'azur, des vagues, des splendeurs», as Baudelaire would have put it.
The same work as the blue door did, some kms later, a shrine located in a curious position: www.panoramio.com/photo/72927096 but maybe I will dare to publish even that work, seeing that the present one received more than the zero reactions which I expected.

Christian: vielen Dank!

I would really want to help you with the blue flowers, but I have no idea. It's a pity.
Greetings Wolfgang
