Toulon is a city in southern France and a large military harbour on the Mediterranean coast. It is the capital of the Var department.
Toulon certainly is not very popular for tourists, as it is historically (and even now) the main port of the French Navy (together with Brest).
Its geographical position, however, is of great interest, and for those who enjoy panoramas is a wonderful place ;-).

you seem to be very lucky this year - excellent weather and beautiful views one after another - congrats!

Thanks Michael. For the weather, this time, is not just luck. I had to go somewhere else, but the weather was not as good. I read where the weather was better and so, at the last minute, I changed and went to the French Riviera.
And, for the sights, this is an area that I know quite well.

Again a view that is both beautiful and interesting. Cheers, Martin

Thanks Martin.
So che era rara.
