Questa sí che è una foto!
Stavo facendo una riflessione che con c'entra davvero nulla con Firenze. Ossia: con il digitale ci stiamo quasi disabituando alle foto in condizioni di luce eccezionali - almeno nel mio caso, il disco è pieno al 99% di scatti con luce del tutto ordinaria. Ai tempi antichi, quando ogni volta che si mandava avanti il rullino di Kodachrome si pensava anche alle 7-800 lire che se ne andavano, ci si risparmiava una buona dose di scatti di routine, e alla fine nei caricatori c'era piú densità di foto, appunto, in condizioni come queste: l'eccezione diventava in certa misura regola...
Bene, ho sparato la mia. Auspico che i commenti successivi che riceverai, immagino in gran numero, siano piú interessanti di questo; per intanto, buonanotte!

The light conditions were exceptional. Probably someone better than me in post-production would have done better, but a light so it's really rare.
But I must say that it was not entirely by chance. When I realized that they could achieve those light conditions, I delayed the departure from Florence two hours.

...I have also been forced to rubbing elbows with a group of Japanese tourists to win the right position ;).

These clouds in the evening light would have already made for a great pano for many locations - add Florence, and it gets really spectacular. I wouldn't know what to do different in post-processing - great job. Cheers, Martin
