This picture comes with hardly any content.
But this is exactly what this Sunday felt.
It was hot, it was around noon and besides some stupid tourists nobody was around. I just left the great hall of Castello Maniace which you look at, a building of no significance from the outside but loaded with incredible historical significance in the inside. A single room castello with a gothic ceiling (Kreuzrippengewölbe) and a huge furnace tells of the early medieval ages, when Federico II / der Hohenstaufe Friedrich II established is famous reign in southern Italy.
