Lake Iseo (Lago di Iseo) is located in Lombardy, between the larger and more famous Lake Garda and Lake Como. Like them, it is a long and narrow lake winding north-south and sheltered by mountains.
The viewpoint of Parzanica is one of the best observation points on the western shore of the lake.
It is clearly visible Monte Isola, which is the largest lake island in Italian and one of the largest in Europe.

You're right, but I got to take pictures on a picnic table. I was in front of the vegetation and the only option was this.

geniale Gegend, touristisch nicht so überlaufen wie die anderen oberitalienischen Seen! Sehr schönes Panorama!

It's been a while (2004) but I can still remember this beautiful region. I was in Iseo (city) that is still just hinted in your wonderful panorama. Monte Isola - a visit is almost a must and you can taste wonderful sparkling wine from Franciacorta :-)
