This hill is quite close to Eskilsbjerg, where the former pano was made. Unlike the former, you can make 360-degrees pano here. Only minor disadvantage is, that you cannot see Nekselø island as good as from Eskilsbjerg - part of it is hidden behind the trees of Lindebjerg Skov (forest).

As most of my panos, it was hastely made after work - I was driving home, and so-called Kattegat-showers had swept us in clouds all day. Around sunset the clouds broke more up, and I turned back and "climbed" this hill in a hurry, and just made it before it was too dark.

I like the clouds here, so again it's a 1/3 earth and 2/3 sky, but also the strange spotlight on Vejrhøj is notable. To explain Kattegat-showers: When a cold northwind travels over the relative warm Kattegat, it will build up clouds and showers. Sometimes only scattered clouds, sometimes massive snowfalls - and sometimes only the longest way over water produces snow. Then only the area around Roskilde gets snow and everything else only clouds. Funny phenomenon, which I have witnessed severel times.

Pano made from 33 pics (RAW) at 50 mm, developed in DPP: 6500K, Neutral, moderate sharpness, 1 tick lightened in the shadows. iso-200, f/8, 1/200 sec. Stitched in PTgui, rescaled and sharpened in IrfanView.

Sehr gute Aufteilung (Himmel/Erde) wie ich meine, bei einer optimalen Brennweite. Manche Wolken schon fast gemäldeartig - schön. VG HJ

Great cloud show, in very natural mood and colors. Cheers, Martin

Another beautiful winter impression. I hope you are not going to make a creative break in the summer like last year. Surely there are also many summer-motivs.

Thank you so much for your feedback.

@Jörg B: I am happy that you see the year-round potential in Denmark for panos. I admit that I was busy during the summer with other things, but I still did a lot of panos. Hugin crashed in may for me, and I spend a lot of time trying to fix it. Finally I gave up and switched to PTgui.

LG Jan.
