The pano shows the structures of the port of Genoa.

The Lanterna (117 meters with the base) was the symbol of Genoa, but now its height is dominated by giant cranes.

Mi piacciono queste composizioni industrial-romantiche! Poi uno si chiede dove andrà / donde verrà la nave GNV: Sardegna? Barcellona? Tangeri?

Non so se tecnicamente il panorama va bene o ha difetti. Come idea compositiva è molto bella, solo che occorre conoscere Genova. La Lanterna è il simbolo di Genova, storicamente con i suoi 117 metri dominava il porto. Adesso appare insignificante rispetto alle gigantesche gru. Ho voluto rappresentare la modernità che schiaccia il glorioso passato. Non era facile da capire. Il tramonto era realmente con quelle luci.

@ Hans-Jürgen: I cut the crane to bring out the LANTERNA. I have a photo with the whole crane and I will insert. Then I will cut one.

@ Jörg: The cranes are placed correctly.
