Ich stehe hier am Kraterrand des 194 Meter hohen Vulkanhügels Montaña Roja. Von hier aus hat man eine schöne Sicht über das ganze Gebiet von Playa Blanca und zur nahe gelegenen Insel Fuerteventura. Im Hinterland sieht man die Vulkanlandschaft des Timanfaya Nationalparks (Feuerberge).
