Havendagen (Days of the Harbor) June 23-24 2018 seen from the dike, on Saturday. On Sunday, it was too crowded and too difficult to make a pano without errors.
No doubt, the Netherlands is cycling country No. 1 in Europe...

Do people here understand that this was technically a very challenging pano?

Dear Mentor, don't worry !!

In my opinion the ambience is quite interesting - and I think we all agree that it's a difficult panorama work. For me, some incomplete parts are the cause of a "non-valuation" ... where is the difference to a top work, if we always give 4 stars - that's why I have not rated so far ...

Dear Hans-Jörg, what do you mean by: "some incomplete parts"? Behind my back it was only a continuation of the tents, contantly moving people and flagpoles too close to stitch.
Technically, there are almost no mistakes, only a few very small mismatches impossible to correct with PTGui and which I think most will not even notice. A setting sun or a static landscape is nothing difficult in comparison. I consider the challenge of this pano at least double as high as my previous pano. So I don't get it other than most people only rate on the basis of: I like it or not no matter the quality of the stitching. Where is mr Leimkötter to tell me what is wrong?
