Location: Punta Loma (30 m)      by: Pedrotti Alberto
Area: Argentina      Date: 23-12-2013
A secluded beach at Punta Loma hosts a huge colony of sea lions (Otaria flavescens). In the vicinity one can single out also a group of rock shags, or Magellanic cormorants (Phalacrocorax magellanicus).
In the distance one can see the coast of Puerto Madryn, the well-known base for visiting the Peninsula Valdés and/or the huge penguin colony at Punta Tombo.
Looking at what you find in the Umgebung, I deduce that it will be better to add some more material from this Atlantic door to Patagonia.

Oh yes, this region is still quite underrepresented and I would be happy to see more Panoramas like this.
