The last - for a while - roadside panorama. Taken shortly after the last one, and again mainly motivated by its typical character.

Again we see Sundini; this time the southern part. The bridge linking Streymoy and Eysturoy can just barely be seen.

Ųrvisfelli, at 783 m the second highest mountain on Streymoy, is prominent in the pano, whereas the highest, Kopsenni at 789 m, is somewhat obscured by clouds.

Pano made from 33 HF pics (RAW), 50 mm, iso-100, f/6,3, 1/320 sec, developed in DPP (daylight, neutral, ALO off, moderate sharpness), stitched in PTGui pro, minor contrast adjustment, down-scaling and sharpening in Irfanview.

Comments

Quite surprising: Normally, for me too much road at both sides of a panorama is a sign of bad composition or poor choice of location. In contrast, your roadside panorama of the Faroes work out fine, and the emptiness of the road contributes to the overall mood... Cheers, Martin

They always say that one cannot survive without a car on this island, so the street is fitting indeed.

"typical character" - that's the best description.
