Location: Gubalowka (1120 m)      by: Konrad Sus
Area: Poland      Date: 11.05.2016
Gubalowka is a very popular hill, situated opposite to Tatry Mts, above Zakopane. Its a objective of many trips. There are three lift going to top. Its not bad sight point, but very crowdy, at flat top are many shops with souvenirs, restaurant and playgrounds. But Tatras looks better from other places.

Comments

I didn't think that you can see the White Tatra mountains by the Gubalowka. When I was there in seventies, my eyes on another were. But the Giewont attracted the attention always. And the Kasprowy Wierch was the destination for skiing.

Very nice - just a shame it doesn't go on. KR Jan.

Jan is right. The Zapadnaja Tatra goes much further.
