«Dressed in light», a title by Jaroslav Seifert, came to my mind when I found these pictures waiting in one folder to be worked out. Nothing to do with Prague or anything Czech, however: here we are on the last inhabited strip of land before the Sahara, and shown here is a very basic method to reduce the advance of the desert throughout the windy plain. Not far from here, crossing a hill, I had to push the bicycle on the asphalted road, due to a thick layer of sand which had accumulated at the narrow saddle point.
